Senior Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity to join IQVIA as a Senior Analyst, working as part of our Market Prognosis team. The Market Prognosis team deliver a syndicated market forecasting publication that evaluates the impact of key issues on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in 49 countries and globally. The team focuses on analysis of developments in pharmaceutical and healthcare policy, pricing and reimbursement, market access, the regulatory environment, as well as industry, political and economic factors, in order to assess the growth prospects of markets globally.

The individual who joins us in this role will be responsible for desk research and report writing that provide specialist insights on pharmaceutical markets.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Creation of high quality analysis and strategic perspective in the form of reports for assigned countries, designed for senior decision-makers within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

• Analysis and monitoring of market dynamics; gathering and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative information; some numeric analysis.

• Interpreting primary market research interview findings with key industry opinion leaders in various international locations.

• Analysis and interpretation of IQVIA data and third party sources to create deep insights. 

Minimum Education, Skills, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• First or upper-second class BA/BSc degree, Masters and or Doctorates desirable.

• 1-2 years’ work experience in a similar environment, or a doctorate in a related field such as health economics, healthcare policy would be considered.

• Excellent English writing skills with published work.

• Appropriate languages for assigned region; Middle East is preferred

• Advanced analytical skills.

• High level of computer literacy including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

• Relevant pharmaceutical and health industry knowledge.

• Understanding and interest in economics and political risk

• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.

• A flexible and collaborative approach.
