BUSINESS / DATA ANALYST

IQVIA is looking for talented and passionate applicants at the Analyst level to join our BPM team in Warsaw.

BioPharmaceuticals Medical (BPM) is an industry-leading Medical team, generating and communicating compelling medical evidence that changes the practice of medicine for the benefit of patients and shapes the future of AstraZeneca. About the role:

The Business / Data Analyst (BDA) will play a key role in the BPM reporting and will be accountable for gathering and analyzing healthcare data from multiple sources to extract trends and business insights. The BDA will ensure global regular reports are delivered in a timely manner and with high quality standards. In addition, will support local and regional reporting and analytic needs to ensure consistency.

The BDA should be excellent communicator who is able to tell the story behind raw data to non-technical audience. The BDA will be collaborating with other analysts and medical group team members to support professional growth and collaboration. This role requires ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels in various geographies as well as working independently.

The BDA will use his technical expertise to increase the automation of the reports within BPM tool(s) and Microsoft Office programs. This role requires very good technical reporting skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and run custom and standard reports using SQL, Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot and VBA
  • Conduct data analysis for urgent ad hoc business questions along with standard reports
  • Deliver timely and quality reporting to inform business performance and strategy
  • Monitor the quality of the data to ensure global data integrity and global reporting consistency, communicate any issues to the appropriate teams or persons
  • Support Medical platforms to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Identify enhancement requirements & opportunities to improve reporting, platforms & metric capabilities (e.g. by seeking input from stakeholders for continuous improvement)

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree preferred
  • 3-4+ years of experience in analytics
  • Experience in working with lot of data and in analytics (Excel with Power Query, Power Pivot & VBA preferably)
  • Experience in querying data using SQL
  • Experience in working on a cross functional team in a matrix organization
  • Fluent in English with good communication, both oral and written
  • Fluency in Polish will be a strong asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Veeva CRM / OCE will be an advantage
