Provides leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary initiative teams. Interacts extensively with a multi-disciplinary senior management team to help in identification of critical needs and contribute to development of strategic initiatives. Drive innovation within the Medical Communications department through identification and proposal of technical and business solutions and projects than can add business value. Interacts extensively with the senior management team to help in identification of critical needs and contribute to development of strategic initiatives. Serve as a trusted consultant to senior management and clients with regard to industry trends, direction, technology, and concepts.Researches and maintains knowledge of industry trends and new insights in contact center concepts, technologies, business trends, and directions.Generates a healthy innovation pipeline, and maintains detailed knowledge and understanding of customer needs, competitors, and emergent technology solutions.Oversees and directs technology, people and processes in relation to department initiatives and provides general infrastructure support to the department.Ensures that department management is informed of project activities, accomplishments, and needs.Leads or contributes to work streams related to departmental/company goals.Leads or contributes to the development of tools, processes, and techniques for improving process efficiencies.Acts as a project manager as necessary to support department projects/initiatives.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12 years’).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
