JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Partner closely with recruiters, utilising market knowledge and insight to develop an effective sourcing strategy and deliver strong candidate pipelines for roles.
  • Use the full range of tools provided to source and engage active and passive candidates in the market
  • Review applications and conduct phone screenings to obtain information regarding applicant's work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Write job postings to create and coordinate job advertising in various media.
  • Attend job fairs and develop and maintain contacts with colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other organizations to identify potential applicants.
  • Meet with functional business leaders and executive management, as required, to discuss and establish recruitment objectives and ensure they are achieved.
  • Support a diverse workforce and comply with local and regional hiring guidelines and procedures, particularly for applicant tracking.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates.
  • Provide metrics and analysis on sourcing campaigns

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrable experience cultivating talent for hard to fill roles through strong research and screening techniques
  • Sound knowledge and experience of a variety of sourcing channels including social media, online databases, events, networking, referral campaigns, etc
  • Experience in the use of Boolean searching
  • Sound knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong client focus and demonstrable ability to provide an outstanding candidate experience
  • Very high degree discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent and experience within a Talent Acquisition function.
