We are excited to announce that, in partnership with our client Mead Nutritionals manufacturers of Nutramigen and PurAmino, we are looking for Nutrition Sales Specialists to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.  

About the Role of the NutritionSales Specialist (NSS)

The Nutrition Sales Specialist will be expected to deliver and implement company approved programs within an assigned geographically-defined territory, to be determined by the company. Their customers include pediatricians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  The Nutrition Sales Specialist will be supported in this initiative with tools and promotional resources designed to have local impact. The successful representative will demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically, while operating within an assigned budget. 

They will also need to be a highly engaged, positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales goals and objectives by making face-to-face presentations to key customers that creates a demand for company products
  • Attainment of sales goals through team collaboration
  • Effective planning, targeting and objective setting
  • Attendance and active participation in all sales meetings and training programs designed to increase competitive product knowledge as well as skill development
  • Exercise financial control of territory operations
  • Maintenance of all sales materials and samples through compliance with Mead policy and PDMA guidelines
  • Fulfil all administrative responsibilities, including feedback to the District Manager, regarding sales trends, business conditions and opportunities
  • Occasional overnight travel for meetings and training is required
  • Depending on territory geography, occasional overnights within the territory could be required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, required
  • Strong background in nutritional science, preferred
  • Experience in sales and nutrition and/or nutrition products (retail or pharma/OTC), preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry preferred
  • Must reside within the territory in an appropriate location to efficiently work the territory
  • Have a valid driver’s license
