  Job Summary We are seeking an Team Leader for our Toxicology department site located in Laval (Greater Montreal area) in Canada.

 

The following are responsibilities related to the Team Leader position :

 

Organize and supervise studies, investigations and/or developments under his responsibility. Manage technicians assigned to studies in a way that maximizes team performance.

 

•    Work closely with study directors on all aspects of the assigned studies;

•    Ensure that log books are prepared before the start of the study;

•    Ensure that all material and equipment required for a study are available before the start of the study;

•    Ensure that the equipment used is validated (when applicable) and that validation certificates are easily available;

•    Produce the schedule of events;

•    Produce collection schedules when applicable;

•    Review data on a daily basis;

•    Ensure that all calculations related to studies have been verified;

•    Ensure that study plans and amendments have been read and are understood by technical staff involved in studies, before the start of those studies;

•    Ensure that all tasks carried out are performed in full compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), where these conditions apply;

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Team Leader position :

•    A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a technician;

•    Practical knowledge of animal health sciences;

•    Strong knowledge of related legislation, principles, practices and procedures;

•    Strong knowledge and application of GLP;

•    Bilingualism (French & English);

•    Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

•    Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change;

•    Flexibility to work on changing work schedules;

•    Ability to efficiently manage people, time and resources;

•    Demonstrated leadership ability;

•    Ability to work in a team environment;

•    Working knowledge of related computer applications
