At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for an expert Learning & Development Specialist to join the team in our Johannesburg office.

The RoleAs a Learning & Development Lead, you recognise the importance of and creating a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes by adding value to our business and meeting client needs.Act as trusted consultant within HR and to Business Leaders alike, in the diagnosis of needs and recommendation and development of requisite interventions in the context of the broader business goals and the existing Learning & Development Curriculum.Lead the diagnosis, design and implementation of development interventions, with internal and external customers, to meet the global needs.Develop and facilitate training, workshops and bespoke interventions for a range of audiences.Design, develop and implement self-paced and blended online learning content and solutions.Build a strong network of relationships throughout the business to facilitate own business acumen to aid in understanding business learning needs and development of appropriate interventions.Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team membersTravel may be required (approximately 20 - 50%) domestic and/or international.

What you needIn depth proven experience in relevant discipline in Training, Learning & Development, Education, Management, Psychology, HR or otherDemonstrates excellent communication, training, facilitation and coaching skillsAbility to work as part of a remote global team and to train effectively with diverse audiencesAbility to work effectively and efficiently with current learning and delivery technologiesProven ability to design and develop self-paced online learning contentDemonstrates knowledge of current learning technologies and principlesAbility to work effectively and efficiently on global networked computers using current software applicationsPrevious supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
