The Market Access CoE team of IQVIA has a position open for an Engagement Manager in Cambridge, MA or Greater Philadelphia, PA areas with healthcare, consulting, or client management experience to join our team of creative, customer-centric experts to address our client’s business insight needs. 

Our syndicated solutions are utilized by leading Pharmaceutical companies, who seek to improve their understanding of the impact of costs and restrictions on patient access to their brands, in addition to overall product performance.  We continually improve our offerings either through client requests for customization, consulting practice projects that are suitable for our platform, and internal ideas generated by our team members.

In this client facing role, you will have the ability to develop strong business relationships with key pharmaceutical leaders to understand their business insight needs, collaborate with a team to create action based analytical tools, and educate the client team on the use of our analytical tools to help them to be successful in their roles.

Given our ever-increasing pipeline of projects and solutions, we are looking for an energetic, curious consultant to join the team.  The ideal candidate is fascinated by how our data can be used to develop analytic solutions to help our clients maximize the impact of formulary access or how copay cards and patient assistance programs impact adherence and market share.  They enjoy customer engagement, demonstrated ability to understand pharma data, and analytical mindset to think through how data should flow from one analysis to another. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships to understand their business insight needs for managed markets analytics, collect requirements, collaborate with our internal team, and facilitate the delivery process.
  • Identify upsell opportunities with existing client base, either through selling existing capabilities or developing innovative solutions that may be resold to other clients.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to create innovative solutions (i.e. custom analytics, bolt-on solutions) to address clients’ evolving business needs, enhance existing solutions and ability to build out new capabilities
  • Advanced understanding of IQVIA data assets and how customers will use them to develop a business insight story
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and actionable documentation to support internal/external customers – meeting notes, business requirements, etc.
  • Assist the Sales team with software demonstration, define requirements, guide implementations and manage client expectations throughout the implementation process
  • Develop training documentation and deliver training to client audiences (e.g. skype, in person)
  • Collaborate with our Visualization and Technology teams on new development capabilities
  • Provide on-going support to your clients through providing proactive insights, training, addressing business needs through adhoc requests.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a relevant discipline with strong academic record
  • 4-6 years of total experience in healthcare-related consulting or analytics
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare or pharmaceutical data.  Knowledge of IQVIA data especially with respect to Xponent Plantrak, DDD, and Claims data a plus
  • Strong business acumen related to Managed Care (a plus)
  •  Experience with integrated datasets (formulary data, custom payer hierarchy, and integration of these datasets a plus).
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, PBMs, or payers
  • Aptitude to analyze data and communicate high level insights
  • Technical skills such as SQL, qlikview, Tableau, MicroStrategy (plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to create thorough documentation
  • Excellent change and process management skills
  • Creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit (i.e. Takes initiative, proactive)
  • Experience working with a co-located development teams (plus)
  • Experience with JIRA / Confluence a plus (not required)
