The Commercial Operations team has been established to drive some of the most critical initiatives impacting our business today. Partnering with global and regional business leaders, our team is called on to provide strategic guidance and analytical leadership for a range of initiatives impacting Technology Solutions. The team drives strategies for account coverage and engagement models, market sizing, pipeline management, capacity and territory management, revenue risk management, and incentive compensation by leveraging strategic thinking supported by data analysis.

We are looking for a seasoned, agile Manager, Sales Operations who has a strategic mindset but is also able to dive into details that will ultimately result in actionable insights. This person will work closely with other team members who are responsible for executing the centralized pricing and contract review process as well as the colleagues who are providing strategic reporting and insights to our Leadership Team.


The Role
You Will:

  • Drive price rationalization in collaboration with commercial leaders and regional sales teams.as well as ensure CPQ (or other price calculators) are utilized across all teams
  • Work closely with Deal Desk to create metrics and data analytics that will help drive future decisions associated with partners and pricing, automate existing reporting
  • Support the build out the Deal Desk as more products get incorporated into the process
  • Reinforce the development end-to-end processes of the Deal Desk in terms of both pricing and Statements of Work (SOWs) as IQVIA moves into our new Lead to Cash model.
  • Enhance and maintain BI tool developed for regular reporting
  • Provide analytics and insights on initiatives that relate to enhancing sales structure, reviewing coverage and engagement models, product alignments and account assignments
  • Analyze and enhance compensation plans
  • Provide yearly revenue guidance to RBUs/Solutions
  • Support Win/Loss analysis
  • Support reporting requests from selected teams (eg Partner team)


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience in Sales Operations or Commercial Effectiveness role

•    Expertise in MS Excel, Hyperion, Power BI and Salesforce is a must

•    Strategic thinker with an understanding of SaaS business technology sales 
•    Strong financial, analytical and communication skills with the capability to provide actionable information through data analytics and metrics, preferably via PPT presentations too
•    Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to assess financial viability
•    Demonstrated ability to understand pricing process and tools

•    Creation of models supporting sales effectiveness initiatives
•    Hands-on person capable of working and collaborating within a global matrix organization
•    Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, efficient in ambiguous situations and proven ability to meet critical deadlines
•    Experience in global roles; understand cultural sensitivities and time zones preferred

•    Eagerness to flex with the needs of the business, prioritize as needed and take on new challenges

•    Direct working experience with IQVIA in the last 3-5 years is a plus
