Chief of Staff Internship

We are currently looking for an intern for Chief of Staff position to work closely and support directly IQVIA Italy’s Senior Vice President and General Manager.

This is a tremendous learning opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of Business, Healthcare and Technology!

In this position, you will have the chance to collaborate on the most strategic IQVIA’s activities, having the chance to support our GM and Management Team in the definition of IQVIA Italy’s strategic framework.

The intern will work closely with our GM to help create systems and institutionalize knowledge that support the organization's effectiveness as it come to scale. The intern will be given significant responsibilities and a fair amount of autonomy.

As an intern, you will be involved in the following activities:

• Support the General Manager in the creation of market and competitive analysis (using internal and external data sources) and deck presentations, assisting him as Keynote Speaker in national and international conventions with major Pharma stakeholders. In doing so, you’ll have the chance to deepen your knowledge on Pharmaceutical market and its dynamics and to collaborate at high level with senior managers. You will be asked to conduct independent, targeted research projects and present findings to senior team members
• Assist GM in implementing the strategic plan working in partnership with the Board of Directors (i.e. organize internal meetings and create draft for M&A pitches)
• Support management of strategic partnerships

Desired Skills and Experience

• MSc graduate in Economics or ManagementEngineering with strong record of academic achievement
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and succinctly summarize recommendations
• Ability to interact with senior stakeholders; have strong communication skills with an ability to effectively explain insights
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
• Proficiency both in English and Italian
• Good planning, time-management and organizational skills
• Be able to complete complex tasks in a short time frame and manage multiple deadlines independently
• Think creatively about how to address new needs, particularly utilizing technology, and be comfortable making recommendations based on cost, features, and integration
