Requires a bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Pharma. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Principal Accountabilities:

This positions primary accountability is to lead a successful program management engagement from inception through implementation and into ongoing support. The goal of every integrated program executed by the Client Success Management team is to balance delighting the client with a seamless integration of multiple internal workstreams and reporting structures indicative of a large organization, such as IQVIA.

This position is focused primarily on executive engagement, governance and strategy and is therefore engaged during the sales cycle. Because of the multiple internal and external matrices, longevity of this organization and innovative approaches it is important to have the following skills:

  • Leadership and Industry Expertise
    • Industry experience and credibility at this level allow the Customer Success Management team to provide program guidance, business acumen and insight at c-suite and leadership levels with the goal of collaborating and providing insightful and valuable solutions for Tech and Apps clients
    • The strategist position will be responsible for providing mentoring, coaching and guidance for all Program Management tiers and will assist with program governance and escalation as required
  • Organizational Change Management
    • Partner with leads across IQVIA BU’s and external client teams to  develop an actionble organization change management plan allowing for efficiencies to be seen throughout future executions
  • Consultative Resilience
    • This position has ultimate responsibility and accountability for all Customer Success Management team executions and so is able to understand and prioritize competing responsibilities and focus on key execution parameters for success

Role & Responsibility:

  • Comply with company and PMO standards and procedures, with ultimate responsibility and accountability for all managed complex enterprise programs
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to provide insightful and valuable business focused solutions with an aligned execution plan
  • Ensure prior execution experience and industry expertise is integrated into new program execution approaches from the initiation phase through ongoing support
  • Ensure standard PMO and Tech & Apps processes are followed and reported, with the goal of organization evolution and refinement
  • Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring/coaching through all phases of execution
  • Gain executive buy in  on program execution governance plan where program related decisions are made and issues are escalated and mitigated
  • Provide oversight on internal and external Steering Committees with key IQVIA and client stakeholders
  • Travel required: 1-2 days a week

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 7-10 years years of pharmaceutical client technology and commercial experience
  • Strong leadership and partner skills, focusing on a strong alignment to client needs and organization evolution
  • 4-year undergraduate or more advanced degree
