The IQVIA Cell and Gene Therapy Center of Excellence (CAGT COE), a hub of CAGT clinical innovation, is growing! We are looking for exceptional people to join our team to help us expand our CAGT portfolio and advance this dynamic and rapidly expanding area of clinical development.

The CAGT Therapeutic Strategy Lead is a CAGT subject matter expert with experience in clinical research, and data and technology, who will be a champion for CAGT across IQVIA.

The key remit of the role is drive growth of the IQVIA CAGT portfolio through scientific, data, and clinical research innovation expertise. The CAGT TSL will be charged with using his/her scientific and data science knowledge to harness the vast IQVIA data and clinical trial resources to develop innovative, data-driven, and patient-centered solutions for CAGT trials.

The CAGT Medical Strategy Lead will provide clinical and innovation expertise to all IQVIA divisions as requested and will collaborate closely with indication-specific teams to provide data-driven innovations to all CAGT clinical trials and studies. The CAGT TSL will also be responsible for early engagement business development activities, providing innovation expertise to guide sponsors in CAGT development.

The CAGT TSL will work collaboratively with other CAGT COE team members to lead thought leadership activities including presentations and publications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable and responsible for creating strategy and effective project delivery solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of CAGT customers and differentiate IQVIA from its competitors.  In partnership with other members of the CAGT COE, responsible for award of strategic and tactical new business to achieve annual Gross and Net New Business targets.
  • Leading and developing CAGT focused innovation, including creative use of data and design approaches for CAGT trials and applying ADSC, GPSS, and other CORE-powered organizational innovations to CAGT opportunities. In collaboration with other members of the CAGT COE, leading CAGT thought leadership activities. These innovations and thought leadership activities will be a key differentiator for the IQVIA CAGT program, and ultimately a driver of GNB.

  • Coordinating the CAGT Site Network, further developing it as a platform to implement the CAGT COE strategy. Key tasks will include ensuring CAGT strategy is seamlessly aligned with site selection, network activities, and meets the needs of the CAGT delivery teams. Providing scientific support to the development of the CAGT Site Network - i.e. identifying key CAGT needs that the site network could fill through innovations and scientific endeavors. A fully differentiated and effective CAGT site network is a key differentiator and will drive growth of our portfolio and increase in GNB.

  • Organizing and leading efforts to optimize CAGT innovation and delivery across the organization, including leading cross-organizational working groups to optimize key elements of CAGT such as logistics management, long-term follow up, and other CAGT differentiators. By bringing our teams together, we can better ensure that CAGT strategy is embedded into key elements of new solutions and delivery which will help increase GNB.

  • Leading and coordinating CAGT communications – including developing capabilities decks, managing the CAGT newsletter and GoIQ channel, developing Go-To-Market materials and a CAGT website.

  • Working collaboratively with CAGT COE leadership to develop a strategic early engagement approach, to bring in new business.

  • Helping IQVIA prepare to conduct CAGT trials over the next 5ish years by identifying areas for growth, innovation, and application of CORE-powered and patient-centered approaches. Predicting market trends and ensuring we are ready to meet/affect those trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, advanced degree preferred, with specialization in one or more therapeutic areas and 10 years global clinical research relevant experience, including hands-on operational delivery and/or drug development experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Robust and current knowledge of scientific, commercial and competitive landscape in CAGT.
  • Excellent skills in providing consultation and advice on multiple assignments are required, as well as initiative and flexibility.
  • Strong clinical research skills and commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered clinical development

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including good command of English language (both written and spoken)
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and work within a matrix organization
  • Innovative and strategic thinker
