Sr. Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager acts as the internal and external evangelist for a designated product set. The person communicates with all areas of the company, and specifically works with Engineering to define product release requirements. In addition, the Senior Product Manager works with marketing to execute the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. This position will be required to help develop and communicate the business drivers for different product initiatives and also drive the creation of user stories and wireframe features as well as giving product demos. 

Responsibilities:

• Specify data-driven market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going interactions with current and potential customers. 

• Manage the lifecycle for assigned products from overall planning to tactical activities.  

• Drive a defined product set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, Operations, and Marketing) through market requirements, internal user requirements, and product positioning.  

• Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan for assigned products, working with all departments to execute the plan using standard operating procedures.  

• Contribute to the overall product roadmap(s) for assigned Cenduit product, integrated offerings, and segments.  

• Contribute to understanding the competitive landscape for assigned products, categorizing real or perceived strengths of competitors and a realistic assessment of how Cenduit IRT measures. 

• Responsible for primary and secondary market and competitive analysis from capturing win/loss information from sales, to capturing current customer wants and needs from Account Management, to assessing how to best communicate the assigned product vision/needs to R&D for implementation.  

• Work with Cenduit Marketing to help communicate the target market/buyer, key product features and general positioning for assigned products.  

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority 

• Understanding of agile development principles of software development 

• Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in technical disciple such Engineering or Computer Science  5+ years of Product Management experience in the enterprise software space, preferably in a SaaS environment. 

• 2+ years working in the life sciences, pharmaceutical or eClincal industry 

• Experience working closely with a software development organization
