The Senior Director, Regulatory & Access is the India regional head for the Regulatory & Access delivery team. This individual is responsible for inspiring, leading and developing the large client service team that spans deeply experienced Regulatory and Access consulting experts with decades of industry and/or Agency experience to those just launching their career.

Globally, the regional heads of the consulting delivery team are accountable for achieving utilization, quality, compliance, customer service and employee engagement metrics that drive Regulatory & Access revenue and profitability. The India regional head understands the region's role within this global context and its unique opportunities to drive revenue and expand margins, and leads change and actions to achieve this.

Accountabilities

- Create a culture consistent with Parexel values: Patients First, Quality, Respect, Empowerment and Accountability

- Talent development and organizational effectiveness: development of the regional leadership team; line management development of the region's managers; ensuring staff at all levels have the performance/career guidance needed to develop in their roles and understand their career path; robust succession planning to align individual staff capabilities with the current and future needs of the organization

- Employee engagement: monitor and manage engagement of the team; lead activities and programs to drive employee engagement and maintain low turnover; reward and recognize employees; communicate and champion organizational vision and values; regularly communicate with staff to ensure effective two-way information flow (i.e. business updates, staff interests, issues, and/or concerns)

- Resource supply and demand: lead resourcing strategy; understand overall demand levels and maintain the team to meet those levels - roles, capabilities, experience levels; oversee candidate recruitment to fill gaps as needed

- Regional capabilities and expertise: deepen existing capabilities in the region and expand to new capabilities/expertise to deliver on the Regulatory & Access book of business and increase Parexel's competitive advantage

- Client service: delivery oversight; work with clients and internal client-facing account and program leadership as needed to strengthen relationships, address issues, ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery

- Operational effectiveness: oversee and continuously improve operational effectiveness through process and quality improvement and compliance

- Internal collaboration: collaborate across regions, Regulatory & Access functions and other Parexel departments to maximize our ability to effectively operate and deliver for clients and to business objectives

- Parexel India leadership: take part on the India Leadership Team, representing Regulatory & Access priorities within India and advancing priorities for Parexel India within the global Company

- External presence: maintain industry network to raise Parexel's profile and reputation with external stakeholdersQualificationsSkills

Knowledge and Experience

- Numerous years of experience in the life sciences or consulting industries with 5+ years of experience managing teams spread across multiple locations in a global, matrixed organization, directing teams and projects

- Prior service provider, consulting industries or CRO experience, preferred

Education

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; scientific or technical discipline preferred

- Advanced management degree preferred (MBA)
