Nurse Educator Lead – Texas Region

**The purpose of this position is to build up our database with candidates who have a skillset that meet the requirements below for future opportunities**

As an integral component of the sales team, the Nurse Educator Lead will work to drive growth and expand adoption in targeted accounts for our clients products. This will include evaluating current guidelines and providing clinical education to increase awareness and adoption for current and new customers. The Nurse Educator Lead role is to drive growth in base accounts, maintain existing customers and work with a client Hospital Specialist to create new revenue opportunities. In addition, the Nurse Educator Lead will take on a leadership role to include interfacing with Client Leadership. This role will also require responsibility for development & performance of a fellow Nurse Educator Peer.

- Lead, train, coach, and develop Nurse Educator team members

- Territory Management; Create strategic plans to increase adoption in existing accounts and implement retention plans for critical accounts

- Provide formal and informal clinical presentations which require training of multiple personnel and overlapping multiple shifts.

- Operate within the hospital environment at a clinical, lab and administrative level across departmental silos. Focus Areas: CMO, CNO, Executive Suites, Infectious Disease/Control, Risk Management, Administration, Hospitalist, Employee Health, Emergency Room, Pediatrics, Human Resources, Pulmonology, Pharmacy, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, HIV, Transplant

- Develop strategy for successful customer on-boarding, implementation and adoption. 

- Analyze financial data on a consistent basis for areas of decline and growth. Provide summaries and work with representatives and management team to create account strategies to drive growth.

- Proficient technical aptitude with computer technology and devices (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM experience, iPad, apps, etc.)

Position Requirements

- Four (4) year bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is required (Nursing associate degree with accompanying RN certification from an accredited program may be acceptable)

- Management and/or management development program required

- Minimum of four (4) years Industry experience preferred

- Current licensed Registered Nurse in state of residence

- Strong Presentation skills

- Experience in sales, preferably in the hospital division of pharmaceutical sales or in vitro medical diagnostics industry preferred

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Knowledge of Laboratory workflow and fiscal operations

- Knowledge of medical institution hierarchy
