Server Infrastructure Analyst Intern (Summer 2021)

PURPOSE: This role is an ideal stepping-stone for current college students. This position will provide exposure to, and obtain, hands-on experience working with a group of experienced server infrastructure engineers supporting a global company with over 30,000 servers.

Server Infrastructure Analyst Intern projects vary, your typical responsibilities and opportunities might include:

• Hardware and Software support of servers running on different enterprise class solutions.
• Support ongoing global initiative of decommissioning legacy operating systems.
• Hypervisor configuration, upgrades, and support.
• Server deployments, configuration and hardening.
• Verifying security compliance.
• ITIL based processing of related tasks.                                      

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program – preferably focused in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Great communications skills
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of server hardware and peripherals
• Knowledge of virtualization technology (VMware vSphere and NSX-T)
