font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Assist with the laboratory (anatomic pathology), medical or other company functions that require a pathologist, including analyses of and responses to medical or pathology/laboratory/clinical trials inquiries by customers.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Provide medical support and direction to the Laboratory Operations leaders, acting as first point of contact for EU Central Labs.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Provide medical/pathology/clinical laboratory support to Laboratory operations departments and Investigators sites as needed</span≥</li≥</ul≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥<strong≥Regulatory and Compliance:</strong≥</span≥</p≥<ul≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥As needed or requested, participate in investigator meetings or client visits to provide medical and laboratory support required for the success of a pharmaceutical drug clinical trial and submission of laboratory data to the FDA.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Consult with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations governing clinical reference laboratories, transport of clinical specimens, and pharmaceutical drug clinical trials.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Assist in interfacing with Sponsors and/or Regulatory authorities as needed.</span≥</li≥</ul≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥<strong≥Scientific support:</strong≥</span≥</p≥<ul≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥Assist in the scientific professional growth of laboratory employees (provide guidance for professional development of staff, participates in interviews, makes hiring recommendations, leads disciplinary actions, delivers performance appraisal review, as required) </span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Advise in the development and approval of the technical database, the proprietary clinical trials database, and laboratory information systems.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Participate in the review and/or approval of new test or service feasibilities.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Pursue continuing or medical education in order to remain current in technology advances in the areas of laboratory medicine and clinical trials.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Perform literature review related to the therapeutic area involved in Sponsor clinical development</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Communicate with clients and clients’ Project Managers to promote project schedule adherence within laboratory operations and meet high quality standards.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Participate in business development visits to current and potential clients as required.</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Make presentations and represent the company at professional meetings and with prospective and existing clients as required</span≥</li≥<li style="margin-left: .25in;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Collaborate with business development in review, writing, presentation and defense proposals</span≥</li≥</ul≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥ </p≥<h2≥Education/Qualifications:</h2≥<ul≥<li≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥Doctor of medicine degree with local licensure as applicable.</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥Certification in clinical pathology </span≥</li≥</ul≥<h2≥Experience:</h2≥<ul≥<li style="margin-left: 0in;"≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; color: #636363; font-size: 10pt;"≥Former experience in an anatomic pathology lab, diagnostic or research</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 10pt;"≥Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate comfortably with individuals at all levels from a multitude of educational, scientific, professional and national or international backgrounds.</span≥</li≥</ul≥
