Job Description

Project responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in statistical methodologies and project management support for standard and custom studies for the CES, RWS and Technology and Solutions teams, including but not limited to Segmentation, Prospective Non-Interventional Studies, Burden of Illness, Cost Effectiveness Analysis, Prevalence Studies, Predictive Analytics
  • While part of a team of experts, you will:
    • Define statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs
    • Implement tactical study plans to answer business questions
    • Conduct statistical analyses to obtain conclusions from the study
    • Document findings and disseminate the information to the rest of the team
    • Present results in front of external clients as needed
  • Gather recommendations from others to develop research plans and protocols
  • Identify appropriate data sources and delivery options whilst meeting client information and analyses needs
  • Identify new opportunities for standard reports and for value-added analytics
  • Work on projects where independent judgment is used within generally defined procedures and practices

Project management and client liaison responsibilities

  • Implement statistical aspects in protocols and scientific communications on time
  • Prepare statistical reports on time to be reviewed by senior members of the Statistics team
  • Ensure quality in all statistical deliverables

Internal initiatives

  • Participate in internal initiatives e.g. knowledge sharing
  • Support more senior staff from CES/RWS/TS on specific business initiatives as required

Expected criteria

Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or related subject Min 3 years experience in biostatistics SAS programming skills Ability to communicate to all levels of stakeholders both written and orally, including non-technical persons Works well with other team members and stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships Initiative to work independently

Desired criteria

Prospective data collection experience including dataset specification and management Health economics modelling experience Demonstrated experience improving and automating business processes through the application of technology Evidence of working with large observational datasets Experience with IQVIA data assets Programming skills in applications/languages such as R, Stata, Python, VB Project management proficiency Line management and/or mentoring capabilities Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
