Senior Product Manager

AI & Machine Learning (AIML) Solutions, Real World Solutions (RWS) Technology

Our esteemed RWS Technology group seeks to expand the product line and launch a series of additional ML & AI products over the next few years. The enthusiastic, innovative and passionate- about-intelligent-tech-solutions Product Manager will help dynamically drive our product portfolio, working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional IQVIA services teams.  This involves growing current ML-led solutions and expanding into new product lines.

The role

The exceptional candidate will work directly with the IQVIA RWS Tech leadership owning different product lines and software engineering cells, as well as working with sales & principals across global RWS and the local business units. As part of this process, you will also work closely with the HEOR or disease teams.

You will engage with technical teams including software engineers or data scientists, manage the product strategy including initial Go-to-Market (GTM) and establish product credibility with clients before scaling through IQVIA sales and GTM teams.

To be successful in this role, it may help to have experience in managing Machine Learning teams and developing analytics applications in healthcare and life-science.

A typical day might include:

• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including developing or standing up core capabilities

• Writing analysis plans for projects, contributing to RFPs, pitching ideas effectively and persuasively to clients

• Using your excellent communication skills to present and translate meaningful technical concepts to lay-audiences

• Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning

• Overseeing multiple concurrent successful product builds and deliver using diverse capabilities and teams - analytics, software, consulting - and ensure continuous improvements of project or product delivery

• Building credibility such as through scientific publications, case studies or white papers.

Our ideal candidate: Experience

• Substantial Product Management experience, including managing intelligent solutions and working with data science teams

• Strong experience managing ML, advanced or predictive analytics solutions end to end with proven delivery capability including capturing requirements, designing analysis plans, managing junior analysts / programmers / software development teams/ data scientists

• Understanding of and experience in implementing analytics product strategies. Qualifications a leading product management framework a plus (e.g. Pragmatic, 280Group, SVGP)

• Strong knowledge of healthcare / life science issues involving Real-World Evidence or experience with patient-level, longitudinal data.

Our ideal candidate: Tech Skills

• Good knowledge of Real World Data in Pharma.

• Solid understanding of machine or deep learning methods, or other novel data analysis methods

• Experience in data analytic products/visualisation  

• Experience working within an agile environment

Bonus points for:

• Experience of a fast-paced, consultancy environment

• Eyes for UI & UX Design

• Good grasp of classical statistical methods, such as fitting regression models, inference testing and sampling
