We strive to make a difference to people’s everyday lives by bringing essential medicines to the market.  In our Histology department we are looking to recruit an Histology technician to join our expanding team for a 9 months contract.</span≥</p≥<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"≥ </p≥<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥<strong≥Job responsibilities include:</strong≥</span≥</p≥<ul≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials.</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Utilize knowledge and experience with histology samples to maintain proper storage conditions and facilitate processing of blocks and slides (stained and unstained).</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Perform slide scanning as required and according to protocols.</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Prepare workstation, instrumentation and maintenance on instruments and/or equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. Ability to adequately maintain accurate records and both adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Reagents, material and supplies monitoring.</span≥</li≥<li≥<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva;"≥Adheres to safety and occupational health policies and standards.</span≥</li≥</ul≥<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"≥<em≥ </em≥</p≥<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"≥ </p≥<h2≥Education/Qualifications:</h2≥<ul≥<li style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;"≥<span style="color: black;"≥ Medical Technologist (CFC holder) or </span≥Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder) orMedical Technologist (Swiss State School of Medical Technologist Degree holder) or Medical Technologist (BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder)</li≥</ul≥<h2≥Experience:</h2≥<p style="margin: 0px;"≥<span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;"≥At least 6-months previous experience in histology laboratory</span≥</p≥
