Job Summary Manage, train and provide support to a group of employees occupying positions that fall under the technical operations of Laboratory Sciences in order to maximize the department's performance through efficient work organization. The supervisor will also ensure the development and continuous improvement of the methods, techniques and procedures in place, and will participate in specialized research projects according to the company's orientation.

We are seeking a Lab Supervisor for oursite located at Senneville, Qc.


The following are responsibilities related to the position: Ensure optimal performance of direct reports. Ensure the implementation of performance, productivity and efficiency strategies, including key performance indicators. Ensure that staffing requirements are met and that operational issues are addressed in a timely manner. Oversees the planning of weekly schedules and upcoming work to ensure optimal productivity at the lowest possible cost. Ensures that all the necessary tools to enable staff to perform their assigned tasks are made available to them, in order to maximize team performance. Develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels of the company. Responsible for all quality-related aspects of the department, such as analyzing deviations and taking the necessary corrective measures. Review and maintain budgets for all designated areas. Identify areas where improved processes are needed and implement them. Ensures resolution of problems. Provide development opportunities for team members and be responsible for staff motivation. Research and implement training methods that ensure industry standards are met / exceeded. Ensure that corporate and government health and safety regulations are followed. Ensure that staff skills are assessed and that disciplinary processes are put in place where necessary. Requirements
