Role:The Patient Recruitment Strategist must be a talented writer, researcher and strategist who can si mplify complex medical concepts for both proposals/new business, and for patient-directed marketing materials. The PRS wears many hats, and must feel comfortable working across multiple departments with the goal of expertly enrolling and retaining patients in clinical trials. The PRS:

Evaluates protocols and writes patient focused proposal sections and bid defense slides

Writes and programs online surveys, creates reports and cohesive summaries of results

Interviews patients and/or medical professionals

Writes marketing copy for creative materials

Manages marketing materials processes, IRB submission and routing

Writes creative briefs and liaises with design team on creation of materials

Handles logistics of translations with outside vendor in coordination with Marketing

Assists with refinements of SOPs

Performs QA checks on marketing materials

Works cross-functionally with multiple departments (Sales, Analytics, Proposals, Project Management, IT, Marketing, etc.)

Documents, reports findings and makes recommendations to internal groups

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as psychology, public health/health communications, or pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing

7 years of recruitment experience and at least 3 years of recruitment experience in clinical research

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to analyze with strong attention to details

Persuasive verbal and writing skills with the ability to simplify complex medical concepts

Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks

Ability to work independently, function effectively as a member of a team and adhere to strict deadlines

Ability and willingness to work collaboratively across multiple teams (Sales, Analytics, Proposals, Project Management, IT, Marketing, etc.)

Strong working knowledge of (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in a PC environment

Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of clinical research patient recruitment across multiple therapeutic areas.

Able to use and learn standard office equipment and technologywith proficiency. May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements, including infectious agents, typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments. Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
