We have a new vacancy on our Finance Team for FP&A Manager.This is a permanent full-time position and can be based at our site inBeijing (preferred) or Shanghai.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to Executive Director of Finance, you will play a visible and integral part of our global FP&A team to work as the point-of-contact for all the FP&A initiatives and report delivery in China. Partner with multi-functional global and local stakeholders across various business units, you will be responsible in managing the financial planning and analysis activities across PPD clinical to identify risks and opportunities and contribute to the achievement of the organization's short and long-term financial goals. You are expected to deliver quality analysis to provide decision support to the finance and business leadership both in China and globally. The responsibility of this role will span across all the business units under PPD clinical, including the portfolio being acquired and potentially to be expanded.

Provide regular consolidated financial reports on operating performance and financial position across all the clinical business units (primarily GCD, AES, Evidera, EDS) for senior management Assists with monthly closing process and resolve issues to ensure accurate reporting Prepare and track key financial trends and performance metrics and highlight the impacts on business units to senior management through effective and timely reporting Support forecasting and annual budgeting process under the guidance of global FP&A team and regional finance and business leader. Ensure consistency and application of budgeting and forecasting processes and policies Develop financial models to construct effective analytics, engaging with multi-functional stakeholders on ad hoc projects in support of China strategy

Collaborates with various departments within the finance organization to ensure goal alignment, contributing to China One Finance initiatives

Able to work independently and ensure quality/accuracy of the work before delivery to stakeholders Experience in life science industry and clinical development is highly desirable Skilled in financial modeling, MS Office with advance Excel working knowledge is a must Proficient in using TM1, Oracle and Clarity system preferred Embrace the can-do attitude and be willing to take extra step forward Native Chinese, excellent command of spoken and written English Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related subjects, ACCA or CPA preferred Minimum 8 years of postgraduate finance related working experience, with at least 3 years of solid FP&A experience with multinational company Strong analytical skills, good numeric ability and attention to details.
