Business Analyst

<h2>Job Overview:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;">The Business Process Analyst is responsible for identifying new business solutions that streamlines process flow across various departments and applications. Based on a sound knowledge of the business processes, this person will work with the various departments to identify solution paths and build consensus towards streamlined process flows. Forming a strong partnership with the business end users, stakeholders and IT teams, this person will be required to communicate effectively across many different levels and disciplines both internally and externally to gather requirements, document business processes, analyze trends and detct compliance issues.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">The Business Process Analysts will be able to balance between what’s being developed within the applications and what’s actually needed to ensure alignment with the strategic focus of the business. The Business Process Analyst will be a key interface with external clients and vendors to facilitate the forward thinking strategy of formulating standard data export and standard mapping methodologies across our various departmental applications.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">Education / Qualifications: </p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><ul><li>BS/BA degree in scientific, business or technology related field; or AA degree with equivalent related experience in position.</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">Experience: </p><ul><li>Active working experience (4-6) years in a pharmaceutical, CRO, IT, or related industry</li><li>Working knowledge or databases, basic programming and data analysis</li><li>Working knowledge of SQL, Excel/ PIVOT tables, data analysis skillset</li><li>Awareness of business process modeling and design</li><li>Familiarity with ICH/GCP guidelines and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations</li><li>Attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem solving skills</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills</li><li>This position will primarily support internal Covance businesses and functions. Depending upon the business unit and applications supported, there may be direct client interaction.</li><li>This position will require interactions and communication across multiple Covance sites; in support of a matrix organizational structure.
