  Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Engineer for our IT team located in Mattawan, MI.

An ITEngineer is responsible for: assisting in delivering effective end-to-end infrastructure technology solutions; delivering consumable, standardized infrastructure services and solutions (reslilient, high quality, highly automated and up-to-date); assisting with build and deploy functions; collaborating with other IT personnel to support technical solution development, deployment and hand-off tasks; and effectively handing off solutions to a service delivery organization. The individual in this role requires: a broad understanding of current relevant technologies; some depth of expertise with cross disciplines; and competence to work effectively on a high performing team to assist in designing, delivering and implementing complex technology solutions.

The following are the minimum requirements related to a IT Engineerposition.

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, with three or more years of related experience in IT or customer service facing environment. Service or helpdesk experience preferred. IT Infrastructure (ITIL) Certification preferred but not essential. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Knowledge of infrastructure design and server infrastructure implementation. Experience with networking. Knowledge and understanding of current cloud computing technologies, strategies and solutions. Effective communication skills for large, multi-national audiences and effective cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills are a plus. Business acumen and knowledge of customer value. Operational performance - knowledge of and/or experience with theory of constraints (TOC) is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills along with effective listening skills. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people. Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shift, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice.
