Job profile summary

The purpose of the role is to oversee performance of IQVIA’s UK&I immigration programme and to act as a central point of contact for the business with regard to casework oversight, compliance oversight and project work.

The job holder will also be responsible for overseeing IQVIA sponsorship obligations and ensuring the Company has the right processes and policies in place to comply with the UK and Ireland immigration requirements.

Experience

The Job holder will have comprehensive knowledge and recent experience of interpreting and advising on UK immigration rules, processes and compliance. They will have proven experience of developing and / or reviewing administrative processes to meet immigration requirements. Similar experience  in respect of Ireland desirable but not essential.

The job holder will also have experience of pro-actively advising organisations on immigration policy and adapting advice to a broad variety of stakeholders with different levels of experience. 

Knowledge

Key skills and attributes for this role include:

Essential
•    Proven experience of working for an OISC or SRA regulated immigration provider with responsibility for overseeing corporate immigration programmes.
•    Extensive experience with management of Tier 2 applications and the current PBS and sponsorship system.
•    Technical knowledge of UK immigration law and a sound understanding of immigration risks and best practice.
•    Experience with facilitating training for internal stakeholders.
•    Experience conducting immigration compliance audits.
•    Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in a complex matrix environment.
•    Proven experience of managing multiple cases/projects simultaneously and independently. 
•    Experience resolving complex immigration issues independently and taking ownership in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
•    Ability to communicate both internally and externally, and to present information in a clear and concise way.
•    Clear attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
•    Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.

Desirable
•    Knowledge of Irish immigration law and process.
•    Experience developing and implementing best practice immigration policies and processes in an in-house setting.
•    Experience of working with HR teams in order to deliver shared business objectives.
