  Job Summary We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Procurement Team in Tranent, East Lothian.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for performing routine tasks involved in the shipping and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk: Receive inventory; sort, stock, and distribute supplies to areas according to schedule or direction. Operate hand or power operated fork truck, pallet jack, high bay lift or other motorized equipment to unload and transport supplies or equipment. Perform data entry in receiving materials through the inventory control system. Assist in preparing materials for shipping to external locations with appropriate documentation Perform general housekeeping duties and follow all safety procedures. Responsible for proper handling and distribution of chemicals.

Applicants should have: Related experience and/or training in a similar role. The employee must be capable of frequently lifting and/or moving heavy goods. A forklift license is desirable but not essential.

The salary for this position is £19,203.49 per annum.
