Responsible for identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities across all SBUs, and creating customized outreach plans to try to connect decision-makers and decision influencers with sales team. Collaborates with Consultative Sales Directors, Solutions Consultants, Commercial Operations, Therapeutic Franchise staff & SBU leadership. Plays indirect but important role in success of Company’s sales strategy for her/his territory/Account, including its strategy to gain market share and build high levels of client engagement and loyalty.QualificationsProven track record of achieving/surpassing lead generation goals or equivalent scientific degreeAbility to work independently and as team player; including complex, dynamic teamsExcellent business/industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the businessStrong lead generation & consultative skillsSolid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and developmentExcellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business dataDemonstrated ability to build relationships and to communicate at senior management levelDemonstrated ability to influence others internally and externallyAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, clients and customersAbility to maintain demanding timelines and aggressive new meetings & RFP targetsAdaptability and flexibility to changing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple prioritiesWillingness to travel 10% of time as client needs / conferences dictateKnowledge and Experience: 2-5 years previous experience in B2B lead generation or sales role, preferably in a CRO, Life Sciences Company or Consulting background specializing in Life Sciences or equivalent advanced scientific degreeEEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.
