Medical Director, (Benign) Haematology / General Medicine

<h2>Job Overview:</h2><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">Medical Director opportunity in EMEA. with Labcorp Drug Development working in Internal Medicine / General Medicine.  </span></p><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"> </p><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">In particular we are interested in candidates who have experience in Haematolgy (benign) / blood disorders, in addition ot other therapeutic areas.</span></p><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"> </p><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">Flexible location options can be considered within the EMEA region (office or home-based)</span></p><p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">Main responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">To act as Lead Medical Monitor for Phase Ib to III clinical trials in (benign) haematology, bleeding disorders; and other indications as required</span></li><li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">Medical support of RFPs and RFIs in the areas of expertise</span></li><li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: 10pt;">Out of hours medical coverage, as required</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Medical Doctor trained in Internal Medicine / (General Medicine</span>)</p><h2>Experience:</h2><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Mandatory:</span> Previous experience in Haematology and Bleeding disorders in a medical monitoring (Medical Director) role, within either a CRO or Pharma company.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Optional:</span> Experience in further indications like respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases would be an advantage</span></p>
