Under general supervision, the Phone Recruiter screens potential subjects/patients via telephone using prepared questionnaires to determine preliminary eligibility for study participation. Schedules consent/screening appointments for those subjects/patients who pass preliminary phone screening interview. The Phone Recruiter utilizes excellent customer service skills (professionalism, tact, courtesy and patience) in order to provide a pleasant experience to callers and to encourage their participation in current and future studies.Under general supervision, the Phone Recruiter screens potential subjects/patients via telephone using prepared questionnaires to determine preliminary eligibility for study participation. High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 months to 1 year of direct customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requires patience and the ability to put the patient/subject's concerns first by friendly and courteous phone screeningRequires the ability to spend the majority of the work day on the phone, speaking with a variety of patients/subjects while remaining courteous and friendlyRequires excellent phone skills, communication skillsMust be able to type information into computerized screening form while speaking with patients/subjects on the telephoneWorking Enviornment:
