  Job Summary We are looking for a Study Specialist - (Sample management/processing) for our Toxicology Services Department located in Laval (Greater Montreal region) in Canada.

The responsibilities of the Study Specialist - (Sample management/processing) position are:

•    Work closely with study directors on all aspects of assigned studies;

•    Perform the follow up of studies by preparing the appropriate documentations;

•    Oversees technical teams and act as the main contact for problem solving issues; 

•    Oversees sample shipment preparation to clients and management of samples a study finalization;

•    Perform follow ups and verification of studies;

•    Review raw data and complete Quality Assurance inspection reports;

•    Write deviation reports, when necessary;

•    Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly instrument calibration are done properly;

•    Understand, respect and consistently apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);

•    Maximize the utilization of all resources;

•    Manage time effectively;

•    Substitute and/or assist department colleagues;

•    Perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required. Job Qualifications WORKING ENVIRONMENT

•    Work in sample management/processing rooms or office environment;

•    Work schedule requires flexibility as per job requirements;

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS 

•    College Diploma or equivalent experience;

•    Minimum 2 years as a technician role;

•    Reading of English is required. Bilingualism is preferable;

•    Good knowledge and application of GLP;

•    Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;

•    Good problem solving skills;

•    Demonstrated leadership ability;

•    Detail oriented and meticulous;

•    Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change;

•    Demonstrate ability for team work;

•    Working knowledge of related computer applications.
