The following are responsibilities related to the Proposal Writer:

As a Proposal Writer you will be closely working with sales and operations to coordinate and execute the provision of statements of work for manufacturing projects to clients while ensuring that all information and documents are put into centralized databases and repositories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

⦁    Serve as the primary interface for clients to gather appropriate information regarding proposals, pricing, etc.

⦁    Ensure all required legal documents are in place.

⦁    Coordinate communications with sales, project management, scientific staff, and clients to provide information regarding Proposals/SOWs.

⦁    Writing/review of quotes and Proposals/Statements of Work (SOW) for all clients and liaising with Sales, Project Managers, Operations, and Biologics Agents and Partners to ensure Proposals/SOWs are technically accurate, priced correctly, and delivered in a timely manner.

⦁    Follow up with clients and the field and inside sales teams to ensure that proposals are complete and answer their needs.

⦁    Participate in multi-site bid processes to ensure seamless presentation to clients.

⦁    May attend trade shows on behalf of site to develop potential new business and present capabilities information to trade show attendees.

  Job Qualifications The following are minimum qualifications related to the Proposal Writer position:

⦁    Education:  Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in science, business or marketing related discipline.  Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

⦁    Experience:  Experience in a contract research, contract manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical setting preferred.

⦁    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
