In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Trainer 1 for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Bethesda, MD.

The following are responsibilities related to the Trainer 1:

•Schedule, perform and document all relevant Task-specific technical, husbandry and cagewash training.

•Confer with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring technical training.

•Coordinate training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the sites.

•Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of technical training.

•Develop effective partnership with the CRTC team to develop course materials and receives feedback.

•Prepares and submits written reports, charts, logs and inventories as requested by Supervisor.

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Trainer 1 position:

•Education: HS diploma, BS degree or AA degree in Vet Technology or equivalent college level program desired.

•Experience: Minimum of three (3) years related animal care and handling experience. One (1) year technical experience.

•Certification/Licensure: AALAS certification at the Laboratory Animal Technician level (LAT)
