As a Lead Senior Proposal Manager you will be responsible for working closely with our Integrated Solution Strategists, Solutions Consultants, Consultative Sales Directors and Business Development to perform appropriate client / indication / therapeutic area research to support proposal development. Manage large, complex, or atypical opportunity types Contact clients as needed to discuss timelines, questions, expectations, deliverables, etc. Schedule, lead, facilitate and add value to strategy call and other meetings to: Identify issues and client requirementsIdentify key strategy team membersRecommend proposal strategy, based on experienceEstablish agreement on timelines and deliverables, and follow-up to ensure adherence Lead senior management and multi-disciplinary discussions to assure full and high-quality input Write and create client specific proposal text to: Accurately reflect strategy discussionsMeet Parexel and client needs / expectationsAssure accuracy and appropriateness of text and attachments Ensure information relating to proposals and are processed into and maintained in relevant databases Takes full ownership of all deliverables, incorporating quality control checks and proactively applies lessons learned from prior deliverables Participate in the development and testing of tools, procedures, and processes as needed Reflect both Parexel and client needs, including first-run strategic output Assure accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness of budgets Facilitate pricing discussions with appropriately identified key decision makers Ensure appropriate and accurate mapping to client budget specifications Provide quality client deliverable to strict deadlines Participate in client meetings to explain budget cost drivers, etc. Participate in client calls related to Requests for Proposals, as needed Participate in proposal defense meetings with clients (limited) Maps full client bid-grids without supervisions and splits budgets into parts as needed Development of commercial terms Ensure budgets are delivered in line with Parexel’s Decision Rights policy Provide timely QC of proposals and budgets prior to final client deadline Overall team management responsibility Team workload assignment and management Performance management and staff development Participates in hiring process Ensure team follows departmental guidance and process Training / mentoring Metrics, reporting Leading/participating in staff meetings Provide QC of proposals and budgets prior to final client deadline, as requested QualificationsSkills: Extensive understanding of the different operational aspects of clinical study conduct in different regions across the world, which may be demonstrated by previous work experience in the industry. Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills Superior analytical, negotiation and organizational skills with ability to perform several tasks simultaneously. Excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make effective, appropriate decisions when necessary. Above-average attention to detail, excellent oral/written communication skills along with highly developed interpersonal and strong team orientated skills. Displays confidence interacting with all levels of staff Ability to work independently to meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork Fluent in written and oral English Proficient in escalation management Positive attitude and sense of urgency

Knowledge and Experience: Comprehensive (7-9 years) proposal management experience in a CRO or similar environment at multinational and multicultural companies. Experience with implementing new technologies (UAT, change management, and training) Positive attitude and sense of urgency Ability to work from home (partially or full time, depending on job requirements) Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours as needed to meet the client’s proposal deadline.
