Exciting opportunity to be a part of a team to promote innovative breakthrough treatments for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). The Therapeutic Specialist / Key Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all barriers to usage of our products are addressed and that all patients who could benefit from the products have access to it.

He/she will be responsible for developing and executing specific account level business plans at all 7 CF Centres (5 NL - 2 FR); communicating disease and product knowledge to healthcare professional customers and ensuring that the full long-term value of the products is fully understood by all relevant stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote safe and effective use of our drugs, in accordance with the product label to ensure that the benefits and long term value of the products are fully understood
  • Provide relevant disease state and on-label product information
  • Interact with wide variety of key stakeholders (CF multidisciplinary team)
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet customer needs
  • Stay current on the CF environment; maintain in-depth knowledge of disease, local drivers, treatment and referral patterns, key account profiles, influence patterns, reimbursement, and barriers to optimal care
  • Responsible for developing and executing account level business plan, including promotional activities/meetings/events for customers;
  • Work collaboratively across functional areas to achieve common goals
  • Facilitate the coordination of internal and external resources to enhance patient care
  • Embody the core values and leadership behaviors
  • Participate in meetings and take on projects.
  • Exercise sound judgment and adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance guidelines and company policies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Solid sales experience in specialty, hospitals, pharmaceuticals
  • Proven track record working with product launches in a key account manager role
  • Experience in hospital access
  • Strong ability building and managing relationships with different key stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, pharmacists and hospital managers
  • Experience in rare diseases will be considered as a plus
  • Strategic and analytic thinking, initiative, proactive attitude and solid decision-making capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability working effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent French and Flemish and intermediate English
  • Ability to travel: mainly in Belgium visiting CF centers, but also to offices in Belgium and Netherlands
