Support lead related to the design, execution, analysis, interpretation, and reporting or
communication of data evidence for Pre/Early/Late Development, Research & Discovery, or
Medical Affairs.
• Support projects with high complexity and ambiguity.
• Lead in providing input to program plans and identify/assist in the implementation of
innovative statistical approaches either as an individual contributor or through a functional
manager role.
• Support multiple programs
• As applicable, when designated as a having a dual Associate Director/Functional Manager
Role with a percentage of the FTE being dedicated to Management and Oversight:
• Project supervision / Team Support:
o Management of project assignments
o Accountable for the review and quality of team work deliverables
o Ensure adherence to project timelines
o Provide technical and project specific guidance for team members
o Provide work coverage for team members when absent
o Organizational aspects of staff management:
o Ongoing Supply/Demand assessments to support forecasting
o Inputs into recruitment of staff
o Line managing of resources, inclusive of performance evaluations
o Metric tracking and reporting
o On-the-job mentoring
o Ensure inspection readiness
o Point of contact for a specific project or program and the management of all related
project/program deliverables.
o Lead in providing input to team in terms of optimizing study or trial designs in line
with study or indication level objectives.
o Provide technical expertise in suggesting, evaluating and implementing successful
alternative or innovative approaches to statistical methods or business processes.
o Identify and implement advanced statistical approaches to handle complex
project/program related features.
