Summarized Purpose:

The Shipping/ Receiving Coordinatorprovides general site support through the performance of assigned tasks related to the shipment and receiving center. This position is within PPD's GMP Lab Facilities team. As a member of our Facilities team you work in a collaborative environment to guarantee PPD’s standards for quality, image, and corporate culture are met at your site. This position is full time, Monday-Friday and provides full benefits and paid time off.Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing.

Operating forklifts safely and responsibly.

Treating all customers and coworkers in a helpful and professional manner.

Delivers items around 500,000 sq ft campus.

Pulling and staging orders for the internal delivery truck.

Maintaining a clean and efficient stock rooms.

Maintain a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs. Com pany Overview:

Education and Experience:

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Technical positions may require a certificate

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to follow directions and perform tasks efficiently and accurately

Consistently positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with others

Strong oral and written communication skills

Solid computer proficiency

Thorough understanding of office equipment and machinery

May require working knowledge of building and maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC and construction codes

May require thorough knowledge of shipping service operations and software such as FedEx, UPS, etc.

May require a good understanding of security systems

May require a general understanding of building automation system (BAS), asset tracking, and/or inventory monitoring

May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.
