The following are responsibilities related to theClient Account Coordinator I:

• Build customer relationships by identifying customer needs, coordinating services, monitoring customer trends, and managing expectations, including new order confirmation, timeline verification and updates, resource usage updates, in-project communications as needed, scheduling of meetings, and finalizing of final reports.

• Initiate work orders and enforce lab compliance with the order fulfilment process.

• Manage customer requests, inquiries and complaints, and facilitate solutions.

• Monitor, make recommendations, and develop solutions for any roadblocks that would inhibit a milestone date being met

• Communicate changes per sponsor requests to affected departments with agreement from Client Services. Verify that required resources are available per the proposed study design changes. Ensure any schedule impact is reported to Client Services in conjunction with scheduling/procurement personnel.

• Verify with Client Services that cost changes have been communicated to the sponsor and approved.

• Coordinate with Client Services and Finance to ensure inquiries are maintained accurately in SAP.

• Maintain various information systems related to project and customer data

• Monitor and enforce laboratory compliance with operational KPIs

• Maintain and enforce laboratory compliance with time tracking for variable-rate projects.

• Process final reports for delivering to clients.

• Communicate to client regular project status updates from sample receipt through final report delivery.

• Coordinate with clients, operations and laboratory staff to facilitate timely provision of supplies and consumables necessary for execution of client projects

• Coordinate activities with Laboratory Operations team regarding instrumentation availability, reagent ordering and availability, client sample receiving and processing.

• Collaborate with laboratory, accounts payable, and purchasing departments to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.

• Assist with invoicing process, including review of orders, approval and crediting customer accounts.

• Maintain streamlined business- and customer-specific reports.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theClient Account Coordinator Iposition:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in biotechnology or biological sciences, or related discipline required.

• Experience: 1 year related experience in client services or project management in a laboratory or research environment.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
