We are seeking aresults-oriented, technically advanced and motivated financial professional with extensive U.S. GAAP experience. This position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller within PPD’s Controllership Organization and will be involved in the following: Assist with efforts related to the Company’s transition to being a publicly traded company including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control environment requirements Be a technical accounting resource for accounting areas such as (but not limited to) goodwill impairment assessments, mergers & acquisitions, valuations, derivatives, entity restructurings and FX / intercompany Provide subject matter expertise for revenue recognition across domestic and international business units Assist in managing the global month end closing process Prepare consolidated financial statements and analytics, and review & approve account recs and journal entries Monitor and assist with the adoption of new and emerging accounting pronouncements and other regulatoryrequirements Drive continuous improvements of our internal control environment. This includes assessing risks, identifying gaps, utilizing tools / templates, and working collaboratively with other business functions Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures to expand sharing of accounting knowledge and information throughout the organization Recommend accounting process changes to improve efficiency and global consistency Provide accounting support and liaise with business unit financial and operational management, executive leadership, external consultants, and external auditors

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP Technical research skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Team player with ability to work with varying levels of experience and knowledge and gain cooperation/consensus to achieve goals Knowledge, experience, understanding of COSO, SOX, and effective control environments Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and quantitative skills Proficient Microsoft Office skills for analysis and presentation of data Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus

Other This is a Wilmington, NC office-based position that is remote work enabled Preference is for candidate to live in North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia General Office Based
