The following are responsibilities related to theOccupational Health Nurse: Develop and oversee employee wellness, disease prevention and medical monitoring programs to comply with government and non-government accrediting agencies. Provide systematic assessment and diagnosis of work-related injuries and illnesses. Coordinate and manage lost and restricted time care for workplace injuries. Monitor healthcare provider recommendations for workplace accommodations, continuous treatment, and work regularly with our Risk Management group and WC insurer. Advise managers/supervisors on light duty placement or job modification. Track patient care and progress. Initiate and facilitate conferences on a regular basis with physicians, therapists and insurance adjusters regarding employee progress. Assist Human Resources with planning for injured employees to return to work from leave. Work with management, employees, medical doctors and insurance carriers in developing proper accommodation of returning employees. Develop, implement, and maintain update procedures and programs for the treatment of employees work related medical issues. Maintain and safeguard confidentiality of employee health information and Worker’s Compensation records, understanding country medical privacy laws. Responsible for the administration and record keeping, for rehabilitation and return to work process, restricted duty, first reports of injury, respiratory clearances, vision examinations, audiometric evaluations, and any other records pertaining medical monitoring programs, if applicable. Maintain a database of incidents, injuries, first aid, and near misses and regularly stratify and analyze these data for severity and frequency. Monitor country healthy agency requirements and research. Conduct reviews at appropriate intervals with management. Minimum Qualifications

The following are minimum requirementsrelated to theOccupational Health Nurseposition: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, active RN or RPN License Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, BioPharma or corporate setting CPR certified or able to obtain CPR within 30 days of hire date Experience in case /care management, disability, and worker's compensation, return to work programs, and cost containment required. Experience in recordkeeping requirements, medical monitoring programs, and other required programs, such as respiratory protection, PPE, Hearing Conservation, Bloodborne Pathogens. Experience with safety, ergonomics, toxicology, and epidemiology. Strong clinical background and knowledge of medical treatment protocols required. Experience with governmental regulations and community health principles applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to make critical health decisions in emergency situations and day to day decisions dealing with health of employees. Ability to make independent nursing judgments, solve problems. Preferred Qualifications:

The following are preferred qualifications related to the Occupational Health Nurse position: Master’s degree in Nursing Certified Occupational Health Nurse – C.O.H.N.
