Role responsibilities:

• Act as a system owner for one or more CRS technologies of high value to CRS, facilitating effective requirement gathering and producing and effectively managing the product backlog for this technology. In this role, also field questions and consult with business stakeholders regarding future strategy and direction of these technologies.

• Facilitate the effective migration, training, adoption and compliance of one or more CRS technologies of high value to CRS, working with internal departments and external technology providers to ensure this is working effectively. Provide adoption and compliance metrics to prove the technologies are being used by the targeted user base. Aid the identification and tracking of metrics to show business return for CRS technology initiatives following implementation.

• Facilitate the effective support and maintenance of one or more CRS technologies of high value to CRS, working with internal departments and external technology providers to ensure the support and maintenance of the technology is working effectively. Provide metrics to prove user issues are being addressed in an acceptable timeframe.

• Regularly meet with CRS business leaders and technology stakeholders to continuously assess priorities and internal CRS technology pain points in order to understand relative priorities and/or identify new technology initiatives that may bring substantial value to the CRS business.

• Facilitate the return on investment analysis for CRS technology initiatives, finding the middle ground between too much analysis and insufficient understanding of the business return. Working closely with CRS Technology management, provide substantive input to help define unique priorities for each CRS technology initiative, based on return on investment (may not be a purely financial return), and other factors (e.g. strategic direction). Provide substantive input into the three year CRS strategic technology plan for clinical technology initiatives, as part of the strategic team.

• Act as a technology consultant for external business opportunities when required, providing technology and business process expertise.

QualificationsIdeal candidate will possess:

• Experience in a Technology or Operational Role within the Pharma/Biotech/CRO Industry

• Thorough understanding and experience of Clinical Research Services and the business processes performed.

• Thorough understanding and experience of at least one technology area of very high business value to CRS (e.g. EDC systems, CTMS systems, EDMS systems, EDW and reporting, etc.). Specific experience in Veeva Vault eTMF or SSU experience will also be an advantage.

• Extensive experience of technology product management, including prioritizing features and functions, and balancing the needs of different users of the product.

• Thorough understanding of technology implementation, training, support and maintenance.

• Extensive experience of performing return on investment analyses, with follow-up after go-live to prove return.

• Significant consulting experience and able to demonstrate the consulting mindset.

• Significant experience of working with global teams across different time zones.

• Fluent English
