Job Overview

Lead IT Architect in the CIO Enterprise Systems & Process team will set the vision for Cloud ERP & Finance related solutions and integrations, as well and oversee development delivery. This home-based role serves as the IT Architect & Manager for the technical resources required to lead, plan, direct and deliver implementations across the portfolio of Enterprise Finance & reporting systems. The role will enable key business relationships within the Finance community​ and participate in crafting the long-term vision for Cloud ERP and end of life legacy applications. Seeking a trusted advisor with deep technical expertise in cloud architecture and a leader with vision who will provide overall technical direction, guidance and definition of Oracle and complementary architecture to deliver products that effectively support our business strategy. 

The candidate should have exceptional communication and negotiation skills, combined with experience guiding software and quality engineer’s analysts in implementing production quality solutions.  The Architect will drive conversations with diverse internal and external teams ranging from architecture, development, and infrastructure to produce an optimal design for our products.  Strong candidates will have development and operational experience at large scale and bring both deep technical understanding and sound judgment to the role. 

Essential Experience

  • Cloud ERP implementation (preferably Oracle)
  • In-depth knowledge with either PeopleSoft Financials or SAP
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in system development.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in development of solution architecture and design.
  • Demonstrable experience architecting the implementation of cloud solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of system life cycle processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Team leadership & management experience in a global setting

Preferred Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of system modeling processes and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of database concepts, including data modelling.
  • In-depth knowledge of system life cycle processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of System Integration & Middleware
  • Experience with MuleSoft ESB, Informatic, OSB
  • Experience with Coupa Procurement, Concur Expenses, Hyperion Financial Management
  • Enterprise Reporting & Business Intelligence Implementation
  • Experience with of OTBI, Oracle BI Publisher, OTBi, Alteryx, Spotfire
  • Large Scale Global Project Implementation Experience
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of business and technical architecture (organization, business process, application, data, hardware/platform, networks).
  • Exceptional strategic planning capabilities, a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver
  • Focus on consistency, re-usability, and technical integration of a substantial product portfolio
  • Experience of maintaining technical relationship with Oracle to ensure best practices are adhered to and enforced
  • Architecting and documenting a technical solution based on project requirements and Oracle/Cloud best practices
  • Ability to create valuable and measurable KPIs
  • Ability to identify new products that stand out via the strategic impact, innovation, and minimizing necessary risks
  • Partner with stakeholders across Product Development & Product Management to lead the Design direction, drive key technical decision points
  • Experienced in analyzing Business Requirements, Entity Relationship diagram and designing them to Oracle Cloud custom objects, junction objects, master-detail relationships and lookup relationships
  • Work closely with product management in understanding the business requirement and provide inputs on technical requirements
  • Track record of reliable and consistent performance.
  • Business Analysis Experience desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
  • Oracle ERP Cloud Certification.
  • TOGAF Certification desirable.
