Summarized Purpose:

The Supervisor Research Tech will be overseeing a team of research techs within PPD's Phase 1 Clinic in Las Vegas, NV! This position will handle all management duties including clinic scheduling, career development, and oversight of day to day clinic activities. The ability to step in as a research tech when needed is crucial, so experience within phlebotomy is preferred.

Essential Functions: Supervises research technicians. Coordinating and scheduling to ensure coverage of all procedures on the unit. Assures the coverage of procedures due to cancellations, overlaps, etc. Facilitates smooth study procedure conduct for both in-house and outpatient studies. Assists in flow-charting when needed. Responsible for direct supervision of full time andper-diem technicians. This position will be in control of hiring, termination, raises, evaluations, and weekly availability of technicians.
