Job Profile Summary    

Direct and oversee the activities of Health Management Services (HMS).

Responsibilities
     Essential Functions
•    Direct HMS projects:  communicate, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).  Ensure revenue and contribution targets are met and customer expectations are achieved.
•    Participate in project start-up meetings, new hire training, customer and project specific POAs and steering committee meetings.
•    Participate in Business Development related to capabilities presentation content and delivery for prospective customers.
•    Responsibility for the delivery of the budgeted revenue and contribution for a defined group of projects, ensuring key financial performance milestones (e.g., turnover, vacancy days and sickness) for the project are achieved.
•    Initiate and assist with new project set up and provide input into broader projects / strategic issues for HMS.
•    Ensure projects achieve high standards of performance via measurement of key areas vs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
•    Develop a HMS strategic plan within the outline of the Business Plan.
•    Provide input into strategic initiatives and the HMS Business Planning process, ensuring on-going communications amongst team.
•    Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
•    Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.  Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.  Approve actions on human resources matters.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge
Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches.

Education   
Bachelor's Degree/Nursing or Life Sciences             

Additional Work Experience     
15 years experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare environment, with previous relevant line management experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience             

Skills and Abilities
    Thorough knowledge and understanding of health services and national clinical systems.        
    Responsible for planning and monitoring of program objectives.        
    Superior relationship-building and collaboration skills with vendors, clients and coworkers.        
    Excellent judgment, decision-making and discretion with all levels of management.        
    Superior problem-solving skills and proven track record of delivering quality solutions.        
    Excellent communication, platform and presentation skills.        
    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
