IQVIA is seeking to recruit a Nurse Associate Project Director for our IQVIA Covid 19 Sampling Study Project. The role will be responsible for overseeing the Project Management team and management of direct and partner organisations to drive a quality delivery by our 1000+ field workers.

Ideally from a nursing background, you will have strong 2nd line management experience, ideally of healthcare professionals. Plus experience in delivering high volume, complex projects. Driving relationships with key partners and suppliers via excellent combination skills is essential.

You will be responsible for:

  • Management of project managers who in turn manage the field managers and teams of blood and swab tester across the UK
  • Developing relationships with partner organisations to ensure they deliver their objectives to the required high standards
  • Internal stakeholder management across the project over multiple business units
  • Ensuring the project achieves high standards of performance via measurement of key areas vs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Providing input into strategic initiatives and the HMS Business Planning process, ensuring on-going communications amongst team
  • Assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Training and development of Project and Field Mangers
  • Ensure all team members have an understanding and working knowledge of the project service
  • Ensure all filed workers achieve minimum standard in the use of IT systems

. As an Associate Director at IQVIA you need to be/have:

  • Strong 2nd line management experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • A nursing background is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent project leadership skills across complex projects involving multiple departments and organisations
  • Strong financial management to ensure budgetary KPIs are met
  • Flexible, professional approach  
  • Eligibility to work full time in the UK  
  • Current full UK driving licence (no more than 6 pts.)
