PURPOSE

Sales Operations Lead and Proposals and Contracts Developer needed to support Real World Technology Services - Patient Centred Endpoint (PCE).  The successful candidate will be overall lead for the Sales Operations function supporting PCE Sciences. Their primary function will be to prepare proposals and contracts, lead pipeline reporting and to continue to improve their Sales Operations function overall. Specific activities of the role include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review Requests for Proposal (RFP) received. Identify information for proposal text and budget development; and work closely with SME’s to prepare and finalize proposals.
  • Prepare text and budget for proposals, rebids and related documents.
  • Provide support and assistance to other Proposal Developers in the delivery of assigned opportunities
  • Participate in strategy calls to discuss customer requirements and identify discrepancies in customer information
  • Perform quality control edits on all documents and oversee the finalization of documents and distribution to the customer and internal departments
  • Support sales closure/contracting processes by collaborating with the Principal in Charge/BD assigned to the opportunity & engage with Legal support as necessary.
  • Lead Sales Operations efforts, including opportunity triage, processing, tracking, and reporting
  • Process improvement: leverage opportunities to better utilize available technologies to support the sales function. Investigate ways to improve the proposals/contracting process for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure that all databases are kept up to date
  • Participate in training / coaching / mentoring new staff
  • May participate in customer meetings
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Previous Sales Operations Experience or previous sales proposal/contract management.
  • Ability to interpret RFPs and proposal-related requests
  • Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and to engage and facilitate across multiple stakeholders to accomplish team goals
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Able to- and comfortable with working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-motivation and be able to work independently
  • An understanding of pricing models
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel, inc Pivot Tables, VLookups)
  • Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries (Bonus)
