Tech Lead Big Data - Health Applications

IQVIA France just created a business unit to develop new AI based web application for our client. This team consists in Data Scientists, Health Experts and Product Managers. It is looking for an Engineering Lead to bootstrap and develop innovative Health Applications for our B2B customers (pharmaceutical labs, pharmacists, practitioners...)

Missions :

• Structure, organize and manage an agile development team to deliver innovative products in the health area.
• Work closely with the product management team, data scientists and clients to help define roadmaps and execute them.
• Setup the architecture of our products and lead all technical aspects (performance, security, architecture, development stack...)
• Grow and coach the technical team: hiring, coaching

Profile :

• Significant experience in leading a technical team in a startup environment as Tech Lead / CTO (2+ years).
• Passionate about software architecture . Experience in big data architecture: real time processing, batch processing and scaling.
• Familiar with data privacy and security issues
• You love building and operating applications (think dev-ops)
• Willing to bootstrap and grow a team of Data scientists and developers.
• Good practice of agile methodologies (code reviews, continuous integration, Kanban...)
• Expert in development, able to setup and push an innovative technical stack. Lots of coding expected
• Strong Python skills and knowledge of python framework (ex: Flask, Django, ...)
• Experience in the health domain is a plus

Technical Environment :

You will have the opportunity to choose the initial technical stack together with the head of Development. Competencies in the team include:

• Data science: python / scikit-learn, keras
• Backend : python
• Front-end: React, D3js. Other visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau...
• Infrastructure: SQL, Hadoop/spark
• Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes...
• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: RabbitMq / Kafka, Elasticsearch...
• Software development tools: Git, Gitlab
