Provides end user support document production assistance, for IVR or other systems produced within the IVRS department, as assigned.Responds to system users, addresses/answers simple system questions/issues and performs simple database updates.Maintains an available status in the automated call distribution queue and responds to incoming interactions (e.g. phone calls, emails, chat requests, etc.) for all systems.Acts as the primary support for end users of systems. Responds to inquiries from end users of assigned primary systems. Typically diagnoses problems including checking database, walking end-users through processes, etc.Processes, reviews and documents data changes and interactions commensurate with level of database write access for the Associate Systems Support Analyst role per approved procedures.Functions as a member of the study-specific project team including understanding the systems.Reviews and may contribute to system design specifications, support directives and user guides.Manages documentation creation, revision and retention utilizing Good Documentation Practice (GDP) guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary teamGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to attain, maintain and apply a general knowledge of GCPs and the conduct of clinical trialsStrong attention to detail and problem solving skillsDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office productivity applicationsTraining and experience in relational database management systems (SQL Developer and/or Oracle preferred)Demonstrated knowledge of database tools with working knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL preferredGood organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities and to manage multiple assignments with challenging/conflicting deadlinesAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlines and respond appropriately with patients and sites waiting on the phone, often with patient treatment and safety at stakeAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with clinical data and client's proprietary data Working Conditions and Environment:Work is performed in an office and/or a clinical environment.Exposure to electrical office equipment.Exposure to fluctuating and/or extreme temperatures on rare occasions.There is little (andlt;5%) or no travel required for this position and no unusual work hours or environmental conditions are anticipated. Limited weekend or other off-hours work may be required to support system users. Physical Requirements:Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.Frequent mobility required. Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
