At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for an expert Director, Data & Analytics Business Partner to join the team.

The Role

The Data & Applied Analytics group provides independent, objective operational and performance data, analytics and strategic intelligence to departmental leaders, business units and study portfolios within ICON.As Data and Analytics Business partner, you will collaborate with an assigned executive and business unit leaders to provide operational data, performance oversight and data-driven strategic intelligence related to:Delivering clinical trials faster, to the highest standards and on budget.Detection and prevention of quality issues and riskIncreasing productivity and reducing costsForecastingEnsures that necessary data and reports to support the clinical trials are available, meaningful and utilizedResponsible for supporting strategic initiative planning, adoption and success. This includes executive initiatives led by DAA and / or initiatives driven from within the business units.Strong ability to interpret data, communicate actions and implications of data and actions.Must have excellent leadership and negotiation skills with an ability to navigate challenging environments and messages Individual and team contributor, responsible for their own & others work within their functional area.Perform other reasonably related duties, analyses and special projects as assigned

What you needBachelor's Degree or local equivalent.Experience within Data Manipulation / Programing skills (VBA, MS Access, Spotfire, Tableau, etc)At least 10 years' experience in CRO or Pharma with at least 5 years operational experience e.g. project management, CRA management at a leadership level, study start-up management etc

ORAt least 5 years' experience in a CRO and with at least 2 years' experience as a business partner within CRODemonstrable skills within data interpretation with a proven ability to use data to drive strategic decisionsExcellent internal consulting skills that allow you to partner with the business leadersProven track record of leading and / or managing change management, performance management, strategy development or talent management with strong project management skills.Highly developed planning and organizational skills. Must be able to resolve conflict and meet tight deadlinesHigh levels of emotional intelligenceStrong strategy development skills with the ability to facilitate strategy development and large scale solutionsExcellent communication and influencing skills
