In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Metrology Associate for our Safety Assessment Group located in Ashland, Ohio.

Summary for the Metrology Associate positions:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating and/or performing the calibration, qualification, and maintenance efforts of equipment and the documentation of those activities;

participating in equipment compliance-related activities and committee meetings; assisting in guiding Equipment and Metrologyefforts.ensuring consistency of SOPs and forms across departments for common equipment and systems; and maintaining contact with service and equipment vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and Study Directors.

• Efficiently prioritizes assigned daily workload and uses time productively.

• Punctual and reliable attendance according to company policy.

• Adheres to safety procedures at all times.

• Performs the calibration, qualification, and maintenance activities for equipment.

• Participates in equipment-related committee meetings and follows up on action items resulting from meetings.

• Maintains/Scans documents and maintains equipment-related lists.

• Enters equipment records of all equipment in a database.

• Assists with the coordination and collection of water samples in support of the water analysis program.

• Completes routine and nonroutine maintenance documentation in accordance with company SOPs and GLPs.

• Reviews maintenance and/or calibration records for compliance issues.

• Acts as contact person for Project Leaders and other staff for equipment-related issues.

• Coordinate SOPs and forms for new and existing equipment.

• Interacts with Vendors and acts as contact person for vendors, as needed.

• Assists with the planning and conduct of training within and outside the department on equipment related procedures and compliance issues.

• Authors and/or executes test scripts for equipment qualifications.

• Assists in the coordination of repair and maintenance contracts for equipment in accordance with assigned schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: B.S. in relevant field and zero to two years of relevant experience; or HS/GED and three to five years relevant experience.

• Experience: Zero to two years of experience with degree and/or three to five years or relevant experience.

• Basic Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated system.
